The purpose of this study is to deepen in love and worship of Jesus Christ. John is one of the most poetic as well as prophetically colourful authors in the Bible, and in all his writings, John draws us into greater awe of Jesus, the glorious Son of God and saviour of all. Â
We start by studying the Gospel of John. Then we turn to his three epistles: 1 John, 2 John and 3 John. Finally, we dive into the exciting book of Revelation. All throughout we look at common themes in John’s writings, such as the way in which John so frequently uses numbers symbolically.Â
This course combines video teaching from Waldo van den Berg and Garth van Niekerk, with introductory key points and a weekly memory verse from each portion studied.
